Hyderabad: Unidentified persons stole a cash bag, mobile phones, identity proofs and other valuables from two TGSRTC buses, which were halted at Uppal bus stop on Tuesday.
According to the police, on Monday, the drivers of the Super Luxury and Rajdhani buses belonging to the Thorrur bus depot had completed their day’s trip and halted for the night. While the drivers were sleeping inside the buses, unidentified persons allegedly sneaked into both the buses during the early hours and stole the valuables from near the driver’s seat.
The drivers who woke up in the morning realised the valuables were missing and lodged a complaint with the Uppal police station.
The case is being investigated. Efforts are on to identify the thieves with the help of surveillance cameras in the surroundings.
