A milk van driver from Hanamkonda suffered multiple leg fractures after a speeding car hit him while he was unloading milk cans in Mulugu town. Police have detained the vehicle and two occupants for investigation.
Mulugu: A milk van driver sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Mulugu town on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the driver, Mahender Reddy of Hanamkonda, was unloading milk cans at a booth in the town. A speeding car coming from Hyderabad and heading towards Bogatha waterfalls hit him from behind, resulting in fractures to both his legs.
Locals immediately rushed Mahender Reddy to a private hospital in Hanamkonda for treatment. Police shifted the car, along with a young woman and man who were travelling in it, to the police station.
