Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, president Asaduddin Owaisi, urged the Indian Embassy in Moscow, Russia, to ensure rescue and safe return of four Indians who are compelled to engage in war activities against their will.
In a letter addressed to the Ambassador, Embassy of India, Moscow, Russia, the AIMIM president said apart from Mohammed Ahmed, a resident of Hyderabad, whose extraction from the war zone is underway, there are three more Indians from Haryana and Rajasthan, who are stranded in Russia.
“It has come to our notice that three Indian nationals – Anoop Kumar, Manoj Kumar and Sumith Kumar- are stranded in Russia. We have received concerning reports that they are being compelled to engage in war activities against their will,” he stated.
A Hyderabad man, Mohammed Ahmed, a resident of M S Maktha, is stranded in Russia and is forced to join war activities there. He had sent an SOS to his family in the city, who sought intervention of the State government and public representatives to help him return safely.
