Siddipet: In a shocking incident, a Class V student sustained injuries while switching on a borewell motor on the premises of a mandal parishad primary school at Komatibanda in Gajwel mandal on Friday.
Manvith (10) of the same village, tried to switch on the motor when he suffered a serious electric shock and fell unconscious. However, teacher Damodara performed CPR on Manvith and revived him after a few minutes of efforts. Later, Manvith was rushed to the government hospital in Gajwel. His condition is said to be stable.
His parents have demanded action against the teacher for engaging him in the work.
