In Shamshabad, M Vijay allegedly died by suicide after the death of his pregnant wife, Shravya, and their unborn twins. Vijay, deeply grief-stricken, was found hanging at home. RGIA police are investigating the incident
Hyderabad: A man who was allegedly upset over the loss of his pregnant wife and his unborn twin children allegedly died by suicide at his house in Shamshabad on Monday.
M Vijay (40), a private employee and his wife Shravya, residents of Shamshabad, were expecting their twin babies this year, with Shravya already in her eighth month of pregnancy.
As per available information, on November 16, Shravya complained of stomach pain, was she was shifted to a hospital in Attapur by her mother. The doctors who examined her said that the babies in her womb had died, and Shravya’s health condition was also critical. For better treatment, Shravya was shifted to another hospital in Attapur, where she died on Monday morning.
Police said Vijay, who was visibly upset, left the hospital and went home and hanged himself from the ceiling fan in the bedroom and ended his life. His elder brother, who came home to call him to the hospital, found him dead.
The RGIA police are investigating.
