Farmers from multiple villages in Nanganur mandal arrived at Kondamrajpally sub-station and staged a protest. When they called the respective AE and informed him that they wanted to present a representation on the issue, the farmers alleged that the AE intentionally delayed coming to the sub-station, prompting them to lock the operator in a room.
However, the farmers presented a representation to the line inspector who arrived at the place immediately. The farmers of Jakkapur and neighbouring villages staged a rasta-roko while Lakshmidevipally villagers in Narayanraopet mandal also staged a protest.
