Hyderabad: A murder convict who jumped parole and went absconding, died under suspicious circumstances at Shamshabad on Monday.
According to the police, V Raju (40) a resident of Mahbubnagar, was involved in multiple cases of murders. In 2015, a local court had convicted and awarded him life sentence in a murder case.
In the year 2020, Raju obtained 20 day parole and came to his village. He had to report back the prison after completion of the parole period. However, he went absconding since then.
“On Monday, he was found hanging to a tree at a real estate venture at Madannapally village. A case is registered and investigation going on,” said Shamshabad Inspector, Narender Reddy.
