After watching RRR, Chris Hemsworth says it would be ‘fantastic’ to work with Ram Charan and Jr NTR
Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, who is best known for his role as Thor in Marvel films, is busy promoting his upcoming film Extraction 2, and while speaking to an Indian media channel, he heaped praise on SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He also joined the list of Hollywood celebrities who said that they want to work with RRR actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan.
In the interview with News18, Hemsworth said, “Just watched RRR recently. I thought the film was incredible. I am sorry I can’t remember the two actors’ names (Ram Charan and Jr NTR). Those guys were incredible. So, if I am lucky to work with them that would be fantastic.”
Earlier, Guardian of Galaxy director and co-chairman of DC Studios, James Gunn said he wanted to work with Jr NTR. He was quoted as saying, “Who is the guy from RRR that’s so good… What’s his name? RRR, the big one from last year? With all the tigers coming out of the cage and everything? That guy! I would love to work with that guy someday. So amazing, so cool.”
Even James Cameron, who was impressed by RRR, told SS Rajamouli that if the Indian director ever wanted to work in Hollywood, he would help him. RRR, which won the Best Original Song award at both the Golden Globes and Oscars, is the latest film to put Indian cinema on the world map.
Also starring Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Ajay Devgn, and Samuthirakani, RRR is loosely based on the freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film has music by MM Keeravaani, the recipient of both the international awards.
SS Rajamouli is currently working on a project with Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile, Jr NTR is busy with his upcoming films Devara and War 2. Ram Charan is working with Shankar for the movie Game Changer.
