An Action Hero box office collection Day 6: Even Rs 10 crore is a dream for Ayushmann Khurrana’s film
Ayushmann Khurrana is known for his unique choice of films which are often a hit. He has given some strong performances as well. However, with his recently released film An Action Hero, the actor has left fans unimpressed. The comedy thriller, which released on December 2, has hardly been pulling the audience to the theatres. On Day 6, December 7, An Action Hero hardly collected any money. Helmed by Anirudh Iyer, the film is facing stiff competition from Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya.
AN ACTION HERO BO COLLECTION
Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat’s An Action Hero released on December 2. The film is Ayushmann’s first full actioner. The film opened with Rs 1.50 crore (India nett) on December 2. On Day 6, the numbers of the film at the box office were very low as it hardly saw an audience. Its single-day collection was just Rs 80 lakh, taking the total nett domestic biz of the movie in the vicinity of Rs 8.64 crore. The film doesn’t seem to be growing at the box office. At this rate, it could soon be replaced from the theatres.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat-starrer An Action Hero is an action thriller. High on slick action and a satirical sense of humour, the film released on December 2. The film is directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The storyline of An Action Hero follows a youth icon and superstar, Maanav.
At the age of just 30, Maanav was at the peak of his career when he got caught up in an accident while filming in Haryana. Maanav is now living in hiding in London while the world is out to get him. The music of the film is composed by Tanish Bagchi, Biddu, Parag Chhabra and Amar Jalal. The background score is composed by Sunny MR.
