They are forced to fetch drinking water from a bore-well
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Students belonging to an Ashram school are forced to fetch drinking water from a bore-well with their source of drinking water becoming defunct at Patnapur village in Jainoor mandal on Sunday.
Students were left with no option but to depend on another borewell following a borewell belonging to their hostel developing issues. They fetched the drinking water in plastic bottles facing scorching heat conditions.
The incident exposed negligence in providing drinking water at the hostel-attached school run by the tribal welfare department.
The students said they were struggling to bring drinking water from the borewell located away from their hostel. They requested the officials to take steps to address their problem at the earliest.
They said that they were unable to focus on classes due to the drinking water crisis.
