Mahabubnagar BJP MP DK Aruna wanted to know if the attack was preplanned, why had the police failed to gather information about it and why was security not provided to the Collector and other officials
Hyderabad: Mahabubnagar BJP MP DK Aruna on Wednesday ruled out any conspiracy behind Monday’s attack on district officials in Lagacharla village in Kodangal of Vikarabad district.
She wanted to know if the attack was preplanned, why had the police failed to gather information about it and why was security not provided to the Collector and other officials. She said during the incident functionaries of all the political parties were present during the incident and that the anger was spontaneous and not preplanned as claimed by the police.
“I don’t think there is any conspiracy behind the Lagacharla incident as claimed by the police. If there was a conspiracy, then what were the intelligence officials doing? The State government has totally failed in maintaining law and order as far as this particular incident is considered,”she said.
Stating that the district administration was aware about the public anger over government’s decision to set up a pharma village, she demanded Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to reveal the names of companies behind the pharma village project.`
