Blast in Hyderabad: Five of family injured after suspected LPG leak destroys house

Hyderabad: Panic gripped residents of Asbestos Colony in Jagadgirigutta following a blast suspected to have been triggered by LPG gas leak in a house on Wednesday early hours.
Five members of a family, including two children, suffered serious injuries in the blast. They were immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
The impact of the explosion completely destroyed the house, while the loud noise triggered fear among residents in the surrounding area.
Locals rushed to the spot to help before police and rescue teams arrived.
Officials said the exact cause of the blast is yet to be determined and investigations are underway.
