Karimnagar: A boy, Suryateja, sustained serious injuries after being hit by a buffalo during Sadar celebrations in Madhuranagar of Gangadhara mandal on Saturday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a pair of decorated buffaloes, part of a festive procession, suddenly panicked and ran amok, triggering chaos among spectators. In the commotion, Suryateja was struck and suffered a fracture in his leg.
Locals immediately rushed him to the Karimnagar district headquarters hospital, where he has been undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
