BRS working president KT Rama Rao hailed PV Narasimha Rao as a visionary who rescued India from an economic crisis and laid the groundwork for modern India with his bold reforms. Referring to him as Telangana’s pride, he emphasized that the BRS government had honored Telangana’s son by celebrating his birth centenary, renaming Necklace Road as PV Marg, and erecting a statue in his memory. The state also recommended him for the Bharat Ratna, he added.

The State also recommended the Bharat Ratna for him,” he said.
Former Minister and senior leader T Harish Rao credited Narasimha Rao with reshaping the country’s political and economic future. “The path he showed forms the foundation of today’s development,” he remarked, urging people to follow in his footsteps.
BRS MLC K Kavitha hailed Narasimha Rao as a pioneer of economic reforms and a son of Telangana. She emphasised his role as a statesman whose policies set the stage for India’s progress.
