Urges State government and Telangana Public Service Commission to address concerns raised by Group I candidates
Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha has called on the Telangana government and the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) to address the concerns raised by candidates regarding the Group 1 exam results.
Allegations of irregularities in the Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 exams have sparked widespread discontent among students.
Representatives from 11 universities met Kavitha to discuss their grievances. They urged her to bring these issues to the government’s attention and raise them in the Legislative Council. Kavitha acknowledged the students’ concerns, particularly regarding alleged injustices faced by Telugu-medium candidates during the evaluation process.
Promote language
In a separate event, Kavitha emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the Telangana dialect.
Speaking at her residence in Hyderabad, she unveiled a poster for poetry and story competitions organized by the Harida Writers’ Association.
Kavitha highlighted the need for creative literary efforts in the Telangana dialect to revive forgotten words, proverbs, and expressions, thereby strengthening the State’s cultural identity.
“Telangana dialect is a source of pride for us. It is our responsibility to pass it on to future generations,” Kavitha stated, hoping that literary works in the dialect would gain international recognition and inspire the global Telangana community.
