Hyderabad: Given the euphoria and enthusiasm generated by the BRS silver jubilee celebrations among the masses, the party working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday exuded confidence that the event would herald a new chapter in the political history of Telangana. Calling upon people from all walks of life to ensure their participation in large numbers, he emphasised the importance of the event marking 25 years of the party’s journey.
He reviewed the arrangements for the occasion over a teleconference with key leaders of the party across the State. He urged party members, activists, and citizens to hoist pink flags in every village and join the celebrations. He also encouraged attendees to wear pink to symbolize their support for the party.
Rama Rao highlighted the enthusiasm evident among the people of Telangana to participate in the event and stressed the need for planning to ensure smooth coordination. He advised attendees to follow the designated routes to the venue to avoid traffic congestion and park vehicles only at the assigned parking areas.
Volunteers will be stationed at various points all along the roads leading to the venue to guide the attendees and provide essentials like drinking water and buttermilk packets. The event promises to be a grand affair, with pink flags adorning vehicles and arrangements made for food and refreshments to combat the summer heat.
Rama Rao called upon the volunteers to extend all help to those heading for the venue and ensure their comfort throughout the event. The highlight of the celebrations will be BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao’s address on the historic occasion as it had generated great deal of interest across various sections of society.
