Burglars loot 36 tolas gold, cash and gadgets from retired employee’s house in Chikkadpally

Burglars broke into the house of a retired employee in Chikkadpally and escaped with 36 tolas of gold, cash, and gadgets. The crime occurred while the family was away. Police have registered a case and are examining CCTV footage.

Hyderabad: Burglars struck at a house and allegedly decamped with 36 tolas of gold ornaments, cash and gadgets in Chikkadpally on Friday.

As per available information, the house of one Narayana, a retired employee, had locked the house and went to their relative’s house when the incident occurred.

The burglars broke open the lock of the main door and entered into the house and fled with the valuables during the wee hours.

Based on a complaint, the Chikkadpally police booked a case and took up investigation. The crime team visited the spot and collected clues. The CCTV footage is being examined.
