A Country Superstar Makes Her Acting Debut in ‘Yellowstone’ Season 5
It was a big week for Lainey Wilson. On Wednesday, the country music star won a pair of the most coveted CMA Awards—New Artist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year—and on Sunday, she made her acting debut in the Season 5 debut of Yellowstone. You know, justthe most-watched show on TV. Wilson’s character in Yellowstone is, like her, a singer. Her music was previously featured in the show, and, like Ryan Bingham (who plays Walker) she’ll also be playing her own original music in the series. A ten-second scene hinting at a same-sex romance between two characters in Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has reportedly been cut in Kuwait. The film was released in theatres this Friday and as per reports, the scene is not part of the theatrical cut playing in the Middle-Eastern country. However, other reports have claimed that several other notoriously censor-prone countries have retained the scene. The scene in question involves two members of Wakanda’s all-female military unit –Dora Milaje.
