Rebel Wilson, Charles Melton to star in ‘K-Pop: Lost in America’
Los Angeles, July 1 (IANS) Actors Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton are set to star in ‘K-Pop: Lost in America. The project will be helmed by South Korean filmmaker JK Youn, reports ‘Deadline. The script has been written by Jeff Kaplan & Ian Springer, with a current draft by Karen McCullah & Kirsten ‘Kiwi’ Smith. The story, according to ‘Deadline’, follows a breaking K-pop group that finds themselves stranded in Waco, Texas, just days before their American debut at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Left with no phones, no money and no transportation, the group must overcome their differences and a host of crazy obstacles to make it to New York City. ‘Godzilla-Kong’ movie to release in 2024, ‘Dune 2’ postponed to Thanksgiving in 2023
Washington: On Thursday, Warner Bros. revealed revised theatrical release dates for two of their well-known movies. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Dune: Part Two’, directed by Denis Villeneuve, will now be released on November 17, 2023, instead of October 20, 2023, in a relatively small change. That implies that the sequel will benefit from airing during the Thanksgiving holiday. Additionally, the next ‘Godzilla-Kong’ movie directed by Adam Wingard will be released in theatres on March 15, 2024. ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’, directed by Wingard, made USD468.2 million worldwide after its March 2021 premiere. Kim Kardashian responds to SKKN trademark infringement lawsuit
American media personality and reality star Kim Kardashian’s launch of her new SKKN skincare brand has hit a rough patch as she has been sued for alleged trademark infringement over its name. According to E! News, she has been sued by New York businesswoman and esthetician Cydnie Lunsford Michael Rhodes, Kardashian’s lawyer, denied any wrongdoing by his client and has vowed to fight the case in court.
