A 42-year-old man from Rajanna Sircilla district died by suicide near Hyderabad’s Ghatkesar by jumping in front of a train. He was reportedly troubled by financial issues. Man caught for smuggling drugs, 120 kgs of marijuana seized in Hyderabad
The arrested suspect cum transporter was working for Sagar, Devraj, Bajrang, Hanumanth and Rajkumar, all from Karnataka and currently absconding. Hyderabad: The Cyberabad SOT along with the Dundigal police busted an interstate drug racket and arrested one person on charges of drug smuggling on Sunday. Officials seized over 120 kgs of marijuana and a car. The arrested suspect cum transporter was working for Sagar, Devraj, Bajrang, Hanumanth and Rajkumar, all from Karnataka and currently absconding. Following a tip-off, the special teams intercepted the car proceeding with drugs from Dundigal towards Patancheru through ORR service road. The suspect was held and the contraband was seized. GHMC Assistant Engineer in ACB net for demanding bribe of Rs 15,000
T Manisha allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant to process and forward bills of the complainant to her superiors. Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught T Manisha, the Assistant Engineer, GHMC of Nehru Nagar for demanding and accepting a bribe at her office at Golnaka in Amberpet on Monday. ACB officials said Manisha allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant to process and forward bills of the complainant to her superiors. It is learnt that the complaint had already given Rs 5,000, a part of the bribe amount earlier. The bribe was recovered from her and she was arrested and produced before the ACB for remanding in judicial custody.
