The victim is identified as Ramesh, a private employee Hyderabad: A two-wheeler rider was killed after a rashly driven car hit his bike at Gagillapur in Dundigal on the city outskirts on Wednesday night. The victim identified as Ramesh, a private employee was proceeding from Kompally towards Dundigal when the mishap occurred. As per available information, on reaching Gagillapur, the car driver who drove it in a rash manner and hit the bike. As a result, Ramesh, fell off the bike, suffered grievous injuries and died.

Moving truck carrying combustible material catches fire in Ibrahimpatnam, none hurt
According to the police, the alert driver and cleaner who noticed the fire immediately stopped the vehicle and got down to save themselves. Hyderabad: A truck carrying combustible material caught fire in Ibrahimpatnam on Wednesday. No casualties were reported. The truck which was proceeding from Deverakonda towards Ibrahimpatnam suddenly caught fire. According to the police, the alert driver and cleaner who noticed the fire immediately stopped the vehicle and got down to save themselves. On receiving information, the Ibrahimpatnam police along with the fire department officials rushed to the spot and after a two-hour joint operation, doused the fire. The driver of the truck smoking a cigarette is suspected to have led to the fire.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police requested parents and guardians to refrain from allowing their minor children to drive, as it not only endangers their lives but also the lives of other road users. Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have booked a total of 1,275 cases against minors found driving motor vehicles on the city roads, during a special drive conducted between April 5 and 22. As part of stringent enforcement, requisitions were submitted to the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) for cancellation of Registration Certificates (RCs) of vehicles involved.
