Shilparamam Madhapur hosting 10-day thematic exhibition with artisans from 5 States
Around 50 artisans from the States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir participated in this exhibition Hyderabad: A 10-day ‘Thematic Exhibition’ is being organised at Shilparamam, Madhapur, from March 6 onwards. The Andhra Pradesh Productivity Council, Hyderabad, is organising the event under the Comprehensive Handicrafts Cluster Development Scheme in Telangana State with the support of Development of Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi. Around 50 artisans from the States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir participated in this exhibition. Products like Bobbin lace station Ghanpur, lac bangles, Cheriyal scroll painting, crocheted goods, jute craft, wood ware, paintings, hand-printed textiles, incense sticks, applique work, tie & dye, terracotta, block printing, stone carving, pottery, Mithila painting, are available for visitors. IIT, Hyderabad, joins hands with Coal India to develop clean coal tech
CIL has green-flagged a grant of Rs 98 cr to IITH for a duration of five years for setting up Centre of Excellence on the institute’s campus New Delhi: State-owned CIL on Friday said it has entered into a pact with the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, to develop clean coal technologies. Hyderabad: NASR Boys School adopts ‘Utsav’
The school management presented a cheque of Rs 3 lakh towards adoption charges of the white tiger in the Nehru Zoological Park Hyderabad: NASR Boys School, Gachibowli, adopted one white tiger named ‘Utsav’ in the Nehru Zoological Park for a period of one year. Utsav is a male white tiger, zoo-born, aged about two years. The school principal Mir Hafeezuddin Ahmed, along with his team and students, visited the zoo and presented a cheque of Rs 3 lakh towards adoption charges to J Vasantha, zoo curator in the presence of Dr Sunil S Hiremath, Director, Zoo Parks, Telangana. The duo from Surat in Gujarat was manufacturing products copying popular brands, which are best-selling on online platforms Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cybercrime police arrested two persons on charges of manufacturing fake cosmetic products like hair oils, and face creams of popular brands, which are best-selling on online platforms. They were manufacturing the products by copying the same images and preparing the same bottles with labels by procuring the oils, and creams from the open market. Truck overturns at Masab Tank road in Hyderabad
The vehicle was on its way from Masab Tank towards Mehdipatnam when it overturned Hyderabad: A truck overturned at Masab Tank road in the city early on Saturday. Telangana: Inter officials get notices for transporting question papers in three-wheeler
