Telangana High Court issues notices to Warangal Urban Collector, RDO, Kazipet Tahsildar
Petitioners challenge allotment of their land by the government to 11 beneficiaries under Lavoni Patta Hyderabad: Justice K Sharath of the Telangana High Court on Thursday issued notices to District Collector, Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) of Warangal Urban district, and Tahsildar of Kazipet mandal in response to a writ petition filed by P Shyam Kumar and others. The petitioners challenged the allotment of their land by the government to 11 beneficiaries under Lavoni Patta, citing a prior order of the Land Reforms Appellate Tribunal, Warangal. The tribunal exempted the agricultural land in question from being classified as surplus under land ceiling regulations. They further alleged inaction by the authorities in reverting the land to them, despite official proceedings supporting their claim.…

Hyderabad: Olive Hospital conducts CPR training programme
The session emphasised Hands-Only CPR, which is a simplified technique involving chest compressions recommended for untrained bystanders Hyderabad: A Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) session for patient bystanders and the general public was conducted by Olive Hospital on Thursday. During the training, the hospital staff demonstrated basic techniques, which focuses on instant action needed to be taken, especially within one minute, which can turn out to be lifesaving critical in emergencies. The session emphasised Hands-Only CPR, which is a simplified technique involving chest compressions recommended for untrained bystanders. Dr Kruthik Kulkarni, the Sr. Interventional Cardiologist at Olive Hospital, said, “The ability to do CPR is an essential life skill, just as important as being able to cook, swim, or use a smartphone.”

50-year-old man dies in car crash on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, another injured
The incident occurred when Rajalingu (50) was proceeding from Medchal towards Dundigal. Hyderabad: A 50 year-old man died and another was injured when a car went out of control and crashed into a a truck on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) stretch in Medchal on the city outskirts on Friday. As per available information, the incident occurred when Rajalingu (50) was proceeding from Medchal towards Dundigal. When the car reached on the ORR, the driver reportedly lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into the truck ahead. Two bikes worth Rs 5 lakh were recovered Hyderabad: The Humayun Nagar police arrested D Mahesh (22) from Boduppal for allegedly stealing bikes parked in residential colonies on Wednesday. He was involved in 25 cases until now. Two bikes worth Rs 5 lakh were recovered. Police said Mahesh, who is a bike mechanic, identified parked bikes in secluded residential colonies and stole them during the night. He disposed them at a lesser rate and made easy money.
