    GHMC officials direct operators to suspend food business operations immediately until the outlets acquire valid licence Hyderabad: As part of a special drive on sweet shops for food safety issues, the GHMC officials conducted raids on second consecutive day on Thursday in the city. During raids on 10 food establishments located in LB Nagar, Kothapet, Charminar, Ramanathpur, Serilingampally, Beeramguda and Macha Bollarum, the inspection teams noticed that the managements were doing business without obtaining a valid FSSAI licence and registration. The officials directed the operators to suspend the food business operations immediately until they acquire valid FSSAI licences. So far, the GHMC conducted raids on 79 food establishments within two days in the city.

The interventional radiology team first embolized the tumor to reduce blood flow followed by Dr. Himanshu Prasad, Dr. Anjaneylu Reddy and Neuroanesthetist Dr. Anagh Chakraborty, performing a 6-hour surgery to remove the tumor without breaching the margins, followed by spinal column reconstruction.     Suspect Dorababu, who is addicted to alcohol, often picked up fights with his mother-in-law and other family members, say police Hyderabad: A woman was murdered by her son-in-law allegedly after an argument in Ghatkesar on Wednesday. Victim M Bujjamma (50), a daily wage worker who lost her husband, was staying with her three daughters and sons-in-law at Maisammagutta in Ghatkesar. Suspect Dorababu (35), a construction worker, was married to Geetha, the younger daughter of Bujjamma. Dorababu, who was addicted to alcohol, often picked up fights with his mother-in-law and other family members.     At least 18 people were injured, seven critically, after a Hyderabad-bound private bus collided with a truck on NH-167 in Narayanpet district. The bus was allegedly speeding. The truck driver fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation. Makthal: At least 18 passengers sustained injuries — several of them critically — when a private luxury bus rammed into a truck on National Highway 167 between Narsireddypally and Jakler villages in Telangana’s Narayanpet district during the early hours of Thursday.     Hyderabad: Two arrested with 10 kg ganja-laced chocolates

    Both found stocking and selling the ganja-laced chocolates to customers and earning profits illegally, say police Hyderabad: The Hayathnagar police on Wednesday arrested two persons who were allegedly selling ganja-laced chocolates and seized 10 kg of ganja-laced chocolates from them. The arrested persons are G Shekar (40), a shopkeeper, and Rishi Shankar Mishra (39).
