Many minor irrigation tanks have suffered due to year-long neglect, leading to siltation, breaches, and encroachments that significantly reduce their water-holding capacity. Hyderabad: Despite the major irrigation sources in Telangana being full to the brim due to the 31 per cent excess rainfall received this monsoon, the State’s minor irrigation tanks tell a different story. Over 1,200 minor tanks are in dire need of attention due to neglect and maintenance issues, exacerbated by the recent September deluge. Telangana Bajrang Dal calls for ban on non-Hindu security, participants at dandiya events
Siva Ramulu warned that Bajrang Dal workers will be forced to stop such participants and events. Hyderabad: Telangana Bajrang Dal Convenor Siva Ramulu has asked the organisers of Dandiya events not to employ staff from other faiths as security personnel and bouncers during the Navratri celebrations. In a statement issued here, he expressed concern that the Dandiya events which are special during the Dasara celebrations were being misused by some participants who see it as an opportunity to trap girls on pretext of love. Tuition teacher sexually assaults minor girl in Hyderabad
The teacher Ramulu, allegedly made sexual advances and also sexually assaulted the 15-year-old girl, who is studying in class ten. Hyderabad: A minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a tuition teacher in Film Nagar. The teacher Ramulu, allegedly made sexual advances and also sexually assaulted the 15-year-old girl, who is studying in class ten. The incident though delayed in being reported, was brought to the attention of the girl’s mother, who subsequently lodged a complaint with the local police.
