Hyderabad: Ganesh idol immersion processions pick up in old city on Tuesday afternoon

The Bhagya Nagar Ganesh Utsav Committee members welcomed the procession and extended the festival wishes to the pandal organisers. Hyderabad: The procession in old city picked up around 2 pm with Ganesh idols from different areas lining up at Charminar. Hundreds of devotees throng Tank Bund to bid adieu to Khairatabad Ganesh

The 70-ft tall Khairatabad Ganesh immersed in Hussain Sagar with the help of towering crane, which was brought specially for lifting the idol Hyderabad: The Khairatabad Maha Ganapathi idol was immersed in Hussain Sagar here on Tuesday. Earlier, the 70-ft tall Ganesh idol reached the crane No 4 on the NTR Marg for the immersion in Hussain Sagar. The idol was immersed after final prayers. DGP Dr Jitender says the entire process is being monitored from the DGP office and the ICCC building Hyderabad: Telangana DGP Dr Jitender said the Ganesh idol immersion is going on peacefully across the State under the watchful eyes of the police. The DGP said the entire process is being monitored from the DGP office and the ICCC building. “All arrangements for the peaceful conduct of the procession are made. Hyderabad: TGSRTC to run 600 special buses to Hussain Sagar for Ganesh immersion on Tuesday

TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar said these special buses will be operated on the day to facilitate hassle-free movement of devotees. Hyderabad: In view of the Ganesh idols immersion and Shobha Yatra, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) will operate nearly 600 special buses from various routes in the city to the Hussain Sagar and its surroundings on September 17. TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar said these special buses will be operated on the day to facilitate hassle-free movement of devotees. He said 15 to 30 buses have been arranged from each bus depot across the 30 depots under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits.
