HC allows state’s appeal challenging single judge order on disputed land

HYDERABAD: A two-judge bench of the Telangana High Court on Friday allowed a writ appeal filed by the state government, challenging an order of a single judge with regard to an extent of 18 acres of land in Quthbullapur mandal. The single judge had allowed a petition filed by R. Bhaskara Raju and C. Padmanabha Rao questioning the authorities for taking over the land in question and handing it over to the AP State Finance Corporation (APSFC).
