Lack of promotions, GO 317 on teachers hit party: BRS

Although the BRS did not contest the election, it backed the Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union-Telangana State (PRTU-TS) candidate Gurram Chenna Keshav Reddy. Sources said the party leadership primarily identified GO 317, spouse transfers, lack of promotions since 2015 and no transfers since 2018 as prime reasons for the teachers not voting for the PRTU-TS candidate. 17 high-risk structures pose grave threat

Telangana pilot among two killed in Army chopper crash

Lt Colonel Vuppala Vinay Bhanu Reddy, one of the two pilots killed, was a native of Bommalaramaram in the district Yadadri-Bhongir: Lt Colonel Vuppala Vinay Bhanu Reddy, one of the two pilots killed after an Army Aviation Cheetah helicopter crashed near Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh bordering China, was a native of Bommalaramaram in the district. He was the second son of Narsimha Reddy and Vijayalakshmi, both natives of Bommalaramaram. VVB Reddy’s wife Spandana is a dentist with the Indian army, according to relatives.
