The key highlights of this year’s programme include milestone-based grant support of up to Rs.5 lakh, incubation support, business coaching and access to IIIT-Hyderabad’s technology expertise. The green light to recruit 1492 healthcare professionals for Palle Dawakhanas will ensure quality healthcare is available at remote locations Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Wednesday accorded permission to the health department to complete the recruitment of 1492 mid-level healthcare workers who will provide primary healthcare services in Palle Dawakhanas. Along with the already existing local Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANMs), Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs), a total of 3206 Palle Dawakhanas and 636 PHCs in 3842 villages will now have a qualified healthcare worker who is either MBBS/ Ayurveda doctor or a B.Sc nursing practitioner. TSPSC released the direct recruitment notification for 247 lecturer posts in the Government Polytechnics in the Technical Education service. Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Wednesday released the direct recruitment notification for 247 lecturer posts in the Government Polytechnics in the Technical Education service. These vacancies were notified in 19 subjects. Receipt of online applications for direct recruitment will commence from December 14 and the last date for online application is up to 5 pm on January 4, 2023, the TSPSC said. 85 students from Hyderabad win Kabel Stars scholarship

Eight lakh acres stuck on Dharani: Farmer to HC
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court took cognisance of the plight of landowners in Mahbubabad district where officials placed 8 lakh acres of land, including those which had pattas, on the ‘Prohibited list’ in the Dharani portal. This prevented the owners from selling or transferring their properties, and officials were demanding bribes to exclude the properties from the list. The High Court had received a letter on the matter, which it converted to a public interest litigation (PIL). The letter emphasised the state of the farmers in Kesamudram mandal of Mahbubabad district who were making the rounds of offices to get their properties delisted. CapitaLand announces plans to invest Rs 6,200 crore in Telangana
This big investment comes just within four days after Amara Raja Batteries on December 2 announced to invest about Rs 9,500 crore over ten years in setting up a lithium cell Giga factory in Mahbubnagar district. Hyderabad: Continuing its good run as an investment magnet, Telangana will soon see CapitaLand setting up a data centre of 36 MW with Rs 1,200 crore.
