After brief hiatus rains lash parts of Hyderabad
The heaviest of rain in the city was reserved for the western parts. The University of Hyderabad surroundings recorded 148.5 mm rain followed by MMTS Lingampally logging in 114 mm Hyderabad: After a brief hiatus, monsoon returned to the city lashing different parts on Wednesday night. Heavy rains lashed parts of the city and suburbs in the night. The day, though cloudy for most part, did not have rains but the late night had heavy rains. Hyderabad: Two arrested with 10 kg ganja-laced chocolates
Both found stocking and selling the ganja-laced chocolates to customers and earning profits illegally, say police Hyderabad: The Hayathnagar police on Wednesday arrested two persons who were allegedly selling ganja-laced chocolates and seized 10 kg of ganja-laced chocolates from them. The arrested persons are G Shekar (40), a shopkeeper, and Rishi Shankar Mishra (39). According to the police, both were found stocking and selling the ganja-laced chocolates to customers and earning profits illegally. A case was registered against them at Hayathnagar police station. Investigation is on.

Hyderabad: Police crack robbery case, arrest four from Uttar Pradesh
The accused reportedly rob a motorist of Rs 20,000 cash; police nab them from Rajendranagar Hyderabad: The Miyapur police solved a robbery case and arrested four persons from Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Police said Afroz Ali Khan, Shabbir, Hassan and Arfath, all from Uttar Pradesh, had robbed a motorist and decamped with Rs 20,000 cash on Sunday. Hydraa clears encroachment on nala in Banjara Hills

The original width of the culvert on the nala was 15 feet which was shrunk up to 7 feet due to unauthorised structures built on it, Hydraa officials said. This nala starts from Bulkapur Cheruvu in Shankarpally and passes through Nagulapally, Puppalaguda, Manikonda, Dargah, Mehdipatnam and Chintal Basti and reaches Hussain Sagar. To ensure free flow of Balkapur nala, the encroachments were removed and the unauthorised construction was demolished, Hydraa officials said in a press release.

SCR cancels certain trains from June 12 to September 12 due to maintenance works
The South Central Railway has cancelled and partially cancelled several train services, including those between Kacheguda, Nizamabad, Medak, and Miryalaguda, from June 12 to September 12 due to maintenance works.
