KCR to leave for Bihar on Aug 31, to extend financial aid to Galwan martyrs
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will visit Bihar on August 31 to give financial assistance to the families of Indian soldiers who martyred in Galwan valley, an official release said on Monday. KCR’s proposed visit will have political significance as his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar recently severed his ties with the NDA and formed the government with RJD, Congress, CPI-ML (L), CPI, CPI(M) and HAM under the ‘Mahagathbandhan.’ Earlier this year, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav met Rao here. GHMC gears up for Ganesh Chaturthi festival
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is pulling out all stops and has launched elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of Ganesh Chaturthi festival that commences from August 31. As a part of the exercise, the GHMC will deploy 280 cranes at lakes located in different parts of the city to facilitate Ganesh Idol immersion and around 9,000 sanitation staff will be pressed into service under its jurisdiction. NTR Marg, Saroornagar Lake and Sanjeevaiah Park Baby Pond are some of the locations where cranes will be deployed. Cyberabad cops bust fake international call center in Kolkata
The Cyberabad Cybercrime team raided an international fake call centre in Kolkata and arrested 17 persons. They were targeting foreign nationals through VOIP calls by posing as executives of reputed antivirus software companies and cheating them. Cyberabad Police Commissioner M.Stephen Raveendra said the suspects were sending bulk emails from fake email IDs to foreign nationals for generating leads (in-bound calls) from those foreign nationals to the illegal call centres located in Kolkata.
