Three-member committee to study Durgam Cheruvu lake problems
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday appointed a three member expert committee with the Director of National Environment Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) Athul Vaidya, Prinicipal secretary, Irrigation and CAD M.Shanthi Vardhani, and Secretary of High Court Legal Services Committee to study the condition of Durgam Cheruvu lake and submit a report to the Court with regard to causes of pollution and the measures required to be taken to protect and preserve the lake.The civic authorities including HMDA, GHMC were kept out of the Committee as the division bench comprising Chief Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice Jukanti Anil Kumar remarked that the inclusion of these authorities would not let the committee progress. Four major airlines grounded at Hyderabad Airport, Centre reveals
Hyderabad: Four airplanes, including one from Indigo, one from SpiceJet, and two from Go Air, are currently grounded at Hyderabad Airport, according to an announcement by the government on Thursday. In a written response to Lok Sabha, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia disclosed that a total of 164 aircraft are presently inactive at 15 airports across the country. The highest number of grounded planes is reported at Delhi Airport with 64, followed by Bengaluru (27), Mumbai (24), and Chennai (20). The airports affected include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa (Mopa), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Juhu, Kolkata, Kannur, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Raipur. Various airlines are affected by this situation, including IndiGo, SpiceJet, Go First, Air India, Zoom Air, and Alliance Air.

Family keeps deceased woman’s body at home for a week in Hyderabad’s Jeedimetla
Hyderabad: In a shocking incident a family failed to conduct final rites of a woman who passed away a week ago and kept the body at their house in Jeedimetla itself. The incident came to light on Wednesday when local residents informed the police about foul smell emanating from the house. According to police, the woman Muku Radha Kumari (45) lived along with her brother Mukku Praveen Kumar and mother Vijaya Laxmi. Greedy Nizamabad man murders friend, his family in filmy style for property
Nizamabad: One person, allegedly with an eye on a family’s property, killed six members of the family within a week in Matlur village of Dichpally mandal in the district. Farmer gets Rs 1 as Rythu Bandhu assistance
Mahabubnagar: A farmer in Hanwada mandal in the district received a mere Re.1 as Rythu Bandhu input subsidy from the State government, leaving him and other farmers in the region worried. Following Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s directions last Monday, officials began disbursement of the Rythu Bandhu assistance for Yasangi season. To begin with, the input subsidy was being deposited into the bank accounts of farmers owning less than five acres.
