Cyberabad police reshuffle: Nine Inspectors transferred
In a major administrative reshuffle, the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police transferred nine inspectors to new roles within the Commissionerate. Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Commissioner of Police on Wednesday transferred nine Inspectors working in the Commissionerate and assigned them new postings. The Inspectors with their postings are G Guruvaiah – SHO Genome Valley, S Sudheer Krishna – SHO Suraram, J Upender Rao – Economic Offences Wing, C Satish Kumar – SHO Bachupally, Ch Dhanunjaya – DI Raidurgam, P Kiran – DI Medchal, A Ravi Kumar – CCS Balanagar and S Bharath Kumar – Traffic Administration.

Boy mauled to death by stray dogs in Hyderabad’s Neredmet
The family members complained that stray dogs move around in packs in the colony and had previously attacked other children too. Hyderabad: An eight-year-old boy died after being attacked by a pack of dogs at Neredmet in the city on Tuesday night. The youngster, Jadhav Prasad, was residing at Keshavnagar along with his family. According to the police, on Tuesday evening, the boy was playing near his house when a pack of dogs attacked and bit him, causing severe wounds. The parents of the boy rushed him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where he died during treatment. The police have registered a case and are investigating. One dead, 18 hospitalised after consuming suspected adulterated toddy in Hyderabad
Fifteen residents of Kukatpally were hospitalised at NIMS after consuming suspected adulterated toddy. While one person is on ventilator support, others are stable. Health and excise officials have launched an investigation and assured treatment and support to the affected families. Hyderabad: One person died and atleast 18 people are currently hospitalized at various hospitals in the cityafter allegedly consuming adulterated toddy reportedly at three toddy compounds in Kukatpally and KPHB. They were initially admitted to different hospitals on Tuesday after complaining of acute gastroenteritis and were subsequently shifted to the state-run NIMS, Gandhi Hospital and a private hospital in Kukatpally. Thieves steal cash box from HDFC ATM in Hyderabad’s Jeedimetla
Thieves used a gas cutter to break into an HDFC Bank ATM centre in Jeedimetla’s Markandeya Nagar and stole the cash box, damaging one of two vending machines. Police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage. Hyderabad: Thieves managed to break into an HDFC Bank ATM centre at Markandeya Nagar, Jeedimetla in the early hours of Wednesday by using a gas cutter, and stole the cash box. In the process, they damaged the cash vending machine. The stolen amount is yet to be estimated. Hyderabad: Elderly woman robbed of gold chain by bikers in Hayathnagar
An elderly woman was robbed of her gold chain by two bike-borne men at Hayathnagar on Wednesday morning. The suspects approached her asking for directions and fled after snatching the chain. Five nabbed for hatching a plan to kill rowdy sheeter
According to police, Faiyaz came to know that Mujju was planning to murder him due to personal enmity. Hence, he conspired to get Mujju killed and offered Rs 15 lakh to his associates. CBI files case against South Central Railway official in DA probe

SCR to prepare reservation charts 8 hours in advance
Indian Railways will now prepare the first reservation chart 8 hours before the train’s departure from the charting station. South Central Railway has adopted this rule for better passenger planning. The second chart rule remains unchanged Hyderabad: The Indian Railways has decided to implement the system of preparing reservation charts preferably 8 hours before the scheduled departure of the charting location (station) of the train. Hyderabad: Security guard found murdered at construction site in Gachibowli
A security guard, Dasari Raju (58), was found murdered at a Gachibowli construction site. He was allegedly attacked by assailants with an iron rod while on duty.
