Mastermind behind UP religious conversion gang arrested by ATS
UP ATS arrested Jalaluddin alias Chhangur Baba and his aide for leading a religious conversion gang targeting vulnerable individuals. They allegedly lured people through marriage and money, violating the state’s conversion law. Two other accused are already in custody. Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police’s Anti-Terrorism Squad has arrested the alleged mastermind of a religious conversion gang along with his aide. Jalaluddin alias Chhangur Baba and co-accused Neetu alias Nasreen are residents of Madhpur in Balrampur district, an official statement said on Saturday. A non-bailable warrant had been issued by a court against Jalaluddin, while the police declared a cash reward of Rs 50,000 for his arrest, it said. Telangana govt sets daily work limit at 10 hours for commercial establishments
As per GO Ms 282, employees are entitled for overtime wages for the work done beyond 10 hours daily and 48 hours in a week Hyderabad: The State government has permitted commercial establishments (other than shops) to allow 10 hours of work daily subject to a weekly work hour limit of 48 hours under ease of doing business. The Labour Department issued GO Ms 282 to this effect on Saturday. As per the orders, employees are entitled for overtime wages for the work done beyond 10 hours daily and 48 hours in a week. Four-year-old boy drowns in water sump at under-construction house in Telangana’s Sircilla
Lingampalli Rishi was playing with other children in the neighbourhood when he accidentally fell into the open sump Rajanna-Sircilla: A four-year-old boy, Lingampalli Rishi, drowned after accidentally falling into a water sump at an under-construction house in Chinthalatana village of Vemulawada mandal on Saturday afternoon. According to villagers, Rishi was playing with other children in the neighbourhood when he fell into the open sump. The other children panicked and ran to inform his parents. By the time the parents, Ravi and Swapna, rushed to the spot, Rishi had already drowned. Devastated by the sudden loss of their only son, the couple broke down inconsolably. They have two daughters. Police registered a case based on the complaint lodged by the parents and launched an investigation.
