Tractor driver dies as vehicle overturns in Telangana’s Kothagudem
Incident occurred when Rama Rao of Maredugudem was transporting ash bags in the tractor trolley from BTPS ash pond Kothagudem: A tractor driver died as the vehicle overturned at Bhadradri Thermal Power Station (BTPS) near Manuguru in the district on Friday. The incident occurred when the deceased, M Rama Rao (48) of Maredugudem in Pinapaka mandal, was transporting ash bags in the tractor trolley from the BTPS ash pond. The vehicle overturned as he lost control of it while crossing the ash pond bund. The driver died on the spot after suffering serious head injury. Edulla Bayyaram police booked a case in connection with the incident. Adivasi organisations and the villagers demanded the BTPS management to support the driver’s family.

Sangareddy mishap: Drunk driver rams into school bus, triggers panic
The incident brought traffic on the busy highway to a standstill for a while. Sangareddy: A drunk truck driver rammed into a school bus and two cars at the Pothireddypally Junction traffic signal on NH-65 here on Friday evening. The school children, who were heading home after school hours, panicked as the speeding truck crashed into the bus. Cop among eight arrested for human trafficking in Asifabad
The accused admitted to selling two tribal girls from the district to individuals and sex racket organisers in Madhya Pradesh. Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Eight persons including a police constable and five women were arrested on the charges of human trafficking here on Friday. Six mobile phones, Rs 50,000 in cash and a motorbike were seized from their possession. Two more accused persons are absconding.
