ACB raids properties of Irrigation Department EE N Sridhar
At least five teams are conducting simultaneous searches at 12 places in Hyderabad, Siddipet and Karimnagar Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials are repeatedly conducting searches at the residence and other properties across the State belonging to the Irrigation Department EE, N Sridhar since Wednesday early hours. At least five teams are conducting simultaneous searches at 12 places in Hyderabad, Siddipet and Karimnagar. Earlier, the ACB had booked a disproportionate asset case against Sridhar. He previously worked in the management of the Kaleshwaram Project. He was reportedly detained for further questioning.

Home guard killed in road mishap after RTC bus rams bike in Telangana’s Medak
Megavath Shivaram, a resident of Ibrahimbad Durga Thanda, was working at Bharosa Kendram in Medak Medak: A home guard on his way to duty died in a road accident after an RTC bus collided with his two-wheeler on Hyderabad–Medak road at Kistapur in Kulcharam mandal on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Megavath Shivaram (44), a resident of Ibrahimbad Durga Thanda in Kowdipally mandal. He was working at the Bharosa Kendram in Medak and was travelling to Medak town when the incident occurred. Shivaram died on the spot after sustaining multiple injuries. A case has been registered.

Police seize spurious seeds worth Rs 65 lakh, arrest six in Telangana’s Suryapet
