Telangana: Focus on export variety of mangoes, farmers told at Sangareddy expo
Huge number of people visited the expo to see the rare varieties of mangoes put on display Sangareddy: The district Additional Collector B Chandrashekhar asked the mango farmers to raise export varieties of mangoes so that they can earn more profits on their produce. Addressing the farmers after inaugurating a mango expo at fruit research station (FRS) in Sangareddy on Friday, the Additional Collector asked the officials to find out the issues in raising the export variety of mangoes and guide the farmers. He said that the agricultural and processed food products export development authority (APED) will provide linkage to farmers who would raise export quality mangoes.
