An iron sheet trader from Mandamarri town lost Rs.96,482 to a cyber fraudster who conned him by promising to buy iron sheets Mancherial: An iron sheet trader from Mandamarri town lost Rs.96,482 to a cyber fraudster who conned him by promising to buy iron sheets. Police said the trader received a message from strangers on WhatsApp stating that they would like to buy iron sheets from his shop. He realized that he lost the funds from his account when the strangers did not place the order, but instead had extracted money in a phased manner by sending some links. The victim approached the cyber police by contacting them on toll free number 1930. A case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
