Rajasthan: Car overturns following tyre burst, five of family killed
According to police officials, the car was at a high speed when it suffered a tyre burst and overturned Jaipur: Five members of a family were killed on Thursday morning when their car overturned following a tyre burst on a highway in Sirohi district, police said. They said the incident happened on the Bearwar-Pindwara highway when the family was on its way to Jodhpur. The car was at a high speed when it suffered a tyre burst and overturned. Arms, ammunition recovered in strife-torn Manipur
Northeastern State has been in the grip of ethnic violence between Meitei and Kuki communities since May last year Imphal: Security forces have recovered arms and ammunition during separate search operations in Manipur‘s Kakching and Thoubal districts, the police said on Thursday. The seized arms included hand grenades, rifles and handguns. The security forces found one INSAS rifle without a magazine, one 9mm pistol, three hand grenades, three carbine magazines, four 9mm ammunition and others from Wabagai buffalo farm areas in Kakching, the police said in a statement. Telangana Tourism has announced limited seating for the cruises. Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism has launched special cruise packages to explore the scenic routes between Somasila, Srisailam, and Nagarjuna Sagar, starting October 26. The first cruise departs from Somasila on October 26, covering Srisailam and returning to Somasila. The second starts from Nagarjuna Sagar on November 2, making its way to Srisailam and back. Pricing for one-way trips is set at Rs 2,000 for adults and Rs 1,600 for children. Round-trip packages are available for Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,400, respectively.
