Pacer Mitchell Starc turned out to be the tormentor-in-chief with the ball while openers Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head hit dazzling half-centuries as Australia romped to a 10-wicket win over India in the second one-dayer in Visakhapatnam to level the series. Umpire Aleem Dar stepped down from ICC’s Elite Panel on Thursday after officiating in 435 international matches. Meanwhile, South Africa’s Adrian Holdstock and Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza have been added in the panel. Morocco confirm joint bid for 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal
North African nation Morocco will join forces with Spain and Portugal in a three-way bid to host the 2030 soccer World Cup, officials confirmed on Tuesday (March 14). Mohamed Salah’s stolen medal is recovered by Egyptian police
Egyptian police said on Wednesday they have recovered a silver medal which was stolen from the home of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah. The theft took place on March 2 and police were able to identify the two thieves, including a former security guard in the residential complex, the Ministry of Interior added in a statement. All the stolen goods were seized, which include a silver medal, a number of sports shoes and TV receivers. A security source confirmed to Reuters that the player intended in the statement is Salah.
