Microsoft survey suggests bosses think workers do less from home, but workers disagree
As per a significant new Microsoft survey, managers and employees have fundamentally different opinions on productivity when working from home. Bosses question whether remote work is equally productive as being in the office. While 87 per cent of employees said that working from home increased their productivity, 80 per cent of supervisors didn’t concur. In 11 different nations, the poll questioned more than 20,000 employees. Meta sued for skirting Apple’s privacy rules to collect data
Tech giant Meta Platforms Inc is facing a proposed class-action complaint that states it allegedly build a secret work-around to safeguards that Apple Inc launched last year to protect iPhone users from having their internet activity tracked. In their complaint filed on Wednesday in San Francisco federal court, two Facebook users have accused the company of skirting Apple’s 2021 privacy rules and violating state and federal laws limiting the unauthorised collection of personal data, Bloomberg reported. The internet behemoth Google has revealed that it is prepared to introduce its latest Pixel 7 series to India, years after introducing its flagship Pixel 3 in the country. Nord forays into wearable market, to launch 1st smartwatch in India
Bengaluru: Global smartphone brand Nord on Monday announced to foray into the smartwatch segment and will soon launch its first wearable device in India. Most Indian won’t use print-out at home service like offered by Blinkit
New Delhi: Only 14 per cent of consumers in India would use 10-minute delivery platforms to get print-outs delivered at home, a report said on Monday, as Zomato-owned Blinkit recently started printout on demand service in the country. Of those willing to avail such a service, 7 per cent said it was due to “convenience” reasons, and another 7 per cent stated it was both for convenience and the price factor, according to community social media platform LocalCircles.
