Reliance Jio formally launches 5G services
Reliance Jio 5G is here. As announced two months back, the telecom operator on Saturday has finally launched the new-age high-speed services in the country. Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani has launched the services in Rajasthan from the famous Shrinathji temple in Rajsamand. This year, it aims to launch 5G services in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. The telecom operator intends to expand its 5G network to each and every town, tehsil and talukas across the country by December of 2023, Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani said on August 29 while announcing the 5G launch in India. Las Vegas: As Bharti Airtel rolls out 5G services in select cities in India, Cloud major Oracle is busy helping the telecom operator in its digital metamorphosis, internally as well as externally, to serve its stakeholders and customers better as it transitions from 4G to 5G. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal citing sources, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Barclays are finding it hard to hold all $13 billion of debt backing the deal rather than sell it. Chennai: With a shortage of rockets to launch satellites, India with its LVM3 or GSLV Mk3 rocket now has a slot in the global commercial satellite launch market, said S.Somanath, Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). San Francisco: Instagram has rolled out new features to protect users from abuse, along with updates to Hidden Words. Now if you block someone, you will have the option to block additional accounts they may have to make it more difficult for them to connect with you again, the company said in a blogpost. San Francisco: Google has rolled out new Gmail and Chat features to improve search experience with labels and related results. The tech giant has introduced three features for accurate and customized search suggestions and results — ‘Search suggestions’, ‘Gmail labels’ and ‘Related results’.
