Meta has launched a new advertisement campaign to target Apple’s iMessage platform. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Meta, revealed the campaign in which Apple is criticised for only providing end-to-end encryption for iMessage and not for regular SMS communication. Zuckerberg published a photo of the new advertisement playing at Penn Station in New York in an Instagram post. The advertisement says: “Protect your personal messages across devices with end-to-end encryption. Always message privately.” One green and one blue letter bubble, patterned like Apple’s Messages app, are displayed in the advertisement. Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro 1st Android phones to support only 64-bit apps: Report
San Francisco: Tech giant Google‘s newly launched Pixel 7 and 7 Pro appear to be the first set of Android smartphones that only support 64-bit apps. The Google Pixel 7 series might be the first 64-bit-only Android smartphone. In addition, several users reported that their new Pixel phones could not sideload certain apps, likely the 32-bit ones, citing sources, GizmoChina reported. However, the new Pixels are not running on a 64-bit-only version of Android. If users try to install 32-bit apps, Google blocks them by displaying the message “app not installed as the app isn’t compatible with your phone”, the report said. The report mentioned that this change would not impact users’ experience because, over the past decade, Google has spent a significant amount…

Gaming On Mobile: The Power Conundrum
Before I dive into this article, I wish to disclose by stating that I just received my Pixel 7 Pro earlier last week and I have been extremely impressed by its performance so far. The software, the gesture-based interfaces, the photography, and the battery life have been top-notch and as I re-adjust to being on a phone envisioned by Google (my last one was a Nexus 5), I am aware that “new device honeymoon” is often a fleeting experience. However, my time with the Pixel has made me wonder what power and benchmarks mean for mobile phones and gaming. Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) on his YouTube channel last week spoke of how he is wary of benchmarking mobile phones and how there is…

Washington:NASA aeronautical innovators are poised to break the sound barrier again, this time in a very different way that could make it possible for all of us to one day travel by air just as fast as any of the X-1 pilots who flew supersonic. NASA’s X-59, the centerpiece of the agency’s Quesst mission, will enable commercial supersonic travel over land. Lockheed Martin has designed, built and conducted initial flight tests with the aircraft and the first flight is targeted for 2023. “That first supersonic flight was such a tremendous achievement, and now you look at how far we’ve come since then. What we’re doing now is the culmination of so much of their work,” said Catherine Bahm, an aeronautical engineer…
