Google issues Android 13 patch to fix wireless charging, battery drain issues
New Delhi: Google has issued a first security patch to fix bugs in Pixel phones running Android 13 to address issues like increased battery drain and disabled wireless charging. The monthly software update for September 2022 will reach all supported Pixel devices running Android 13, starting from Tuesday. “The rollout will continue over the next week in phases depending on carrier and device. Pixel 6a devices will receive the update later this month,” the company said in an update. Users will receive a notification once the over-the-air (OTA) update becomes available for their device. Google to launch Pixel 7 phones, first smartwatch on Oct 6
New Delhi: Google will announce new Pixel 7 smartphones with second-generation chip as well as the Pixel Watch on October 6. Called ‘Made by Google,’ the hardware launch event will see new devices as shown by the company at its I/O developer conference earlier this year. “It’s all coming together. Apple breaks Meta-Google ad monopoly with iOS privacy changes
New Delhi: Apple‘s privacy changes in the App Store called App Tracking Transparency (ATT) has given a boost to its ad business, and the iPhone maker has managed to break the Facebook-Google advertising monopoly in the online search market. Gulf Arab nations ask Netflix to remove ‘offensive’ videos
Gulf Arab countries on Tuesday asked Netflix to remove “offensive content” on the streaming service, apparently targeting programs that show gays and lesbians. A joint statement issued on behalf of a committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council made the request, saying the unspecified programs “contradict Islamic and societal values ??and principles. ”Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates each published the statement via their respective governments as well. They, along with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar, make up the six-nation council. Twitter bans more than 45,000 accounts in India for promoting sexual exploitation, terrorism
