Ashvitha, a native of Banjerupalli, was a student at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Veernapalli. On Friday evening, she reportedly jumped from the first floor of the school building. The school authorities took her to a private hospital in Yellareddypet, where she is currently receiving treatment. Reports indicate that her decision to end her life stemmed from her reluctance to stay in the hostel.

A native of Banjerupalli, Ashvitha was studying in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Veernapalli. She allegedly jumped off from the first floor of the school building on Friday evening.
School authorities shifted her to a private hospital in Yellareddypet where she is undergoing treatment. Not interested in staying in the hostel, she decided to end her life, it is learnt.
Additional Collector Kheemya Naik visited the hospital and enquired about the health condition of the girl. He expressed anger at the school authorities for their negligence.
