Medak: Congress goons created a ruckus in front of Narsapur BRS MLA V Sunitha Lakshma Reddy’s residence at Gomaram village in Shivvampet mandal on Sunday. While taking the Ganesh idol in a procession for immersion, Congress cadre in the village burst the crackers in front of the gate when the MLA was not inside the residence.
However, it caused panic among the people who were inside during the night. When the BRS leaders objected to it, the Congress cadre entered into a serious argument with them. The incident resulted in a minor scuffle between both the cadre.
Meanwhile, the quick reaction team of Medak police rushed to the spot and sent the Congress and BRS cadre away.
Speaking on the occasion, the BRS cadre said that the Congress leaders in the village tried to barge into the house when they objected to bursting the crackers very close to the house. M
eanwhile, Sunitha Lakshma Reddy returned to the home on Monday morning to examine the situation. After coming to know about the issue, Former Minister T Harish Rao was also going to Gomaram to meet the MLA and BRS cadre.
