Covid norms back in Karnataka as 525 new cases reported

The Karnataka government on Friday reinstated Covid norms back in the state. People are now required to wear masks compulsorily in public places. This comes even as the state reported 525 new cases on June 10.

Waiters and shopkeepers are also required to wear masks.

COVID NUMBERS IN KARNATAKA

Karnataka reported 525 new Covid cases on June 10. Out of this, 494 were reported in Bangalore alone. This puts the total number of active cases in the state at 3,177 with 3,061 in Bangalore.

The positivity rate in the state is 2.31 per cent.

No deaths were reported in the last twenty-four hours with 228 patients discharged after a full recovery.
