Cricket calendar 2023: Here is the full schedule of series and tournaments for Team India

India had a pretty disappointing 2022, where in they failed to win a single multi-team tournament, while also losing high stakes matches and series as well. India went out of the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup after defeats to Pakistan and Sri Lanka. In fact they also went out of the semi-final of the T20 World Cup, after a huge 10-wicket defeat at the hands of eventual champions England.

The year also saw multiple captains leading the national team, across all formats – seven to be precise. However, the year ended with Hardik Pandya being handed the T20I captaincy in the upcoming series against Sri lanka, while Rohit Sharma retains his leadership role in ODIs and Tests.

In spite of the underwhelming year in 2022, India ended it on a strong note as they solidified their place in the second spot of the Woerld Test Championship Table by defeating Bangladesh 2-0 at their home turf. They have thus increased theit chance multi-fold to qualify for the WTC final in 2023 in June.
