Hyderabad: The Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) is holding its meeting today (January 21) at Jala Soudha in Hyderabad.

Starting at 11 am, the meeting aims to address critical issues, including the allocation and release of water from the Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar projects. AP had drawn over 600 TMCs of Krishna water so far as against an overall utilisation of 170 TMC by Telangana.

The discussions are considered important as they involve irrigation officials from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, striving to resolve the ongoing water-sharing issues.
