
Special drive was conducted in January and February to clear pending cyber-crime cases
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested 161 persons who were allegedly involved in 82 cases and remanded them. Among those arrested 82 arrests were made in connection with 37 cases of trading frauds.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty said a special drive was conducted in January and February to clear pending cyber-crime cases. During the drive four habitual offenders involved in 11 cases were arrested along with the 157 people.
The police seized 93 SIM cards, 37 cheque books, 22 pass books, 23 debit cards, laptops 4, a car and other articles.
